  • Report to the Associate Director of Marketing and the Managing Director of Consumer Products to:

    • Help develop and execute revenue generating strategies through web, email, mobile, social media, e-commerce and direct mail channels.

    • Retrieve data and statistics from Adobe Analytics and work with an outside team to track Team USA Shop sales, orders, visits, and conversion percentages

    • Create presentations and documents for daily sales highlights as well as monthly sales and paid media marketing highlights to inform the Associate Director and Chief Marketing Officer of shop statistics

    • Plan and execute mass mailings for donation and fundraising efforts

    • Plan and execute mass mailings to promote the "Team USA" iPhone app leading up to the Olympic Game

    • Plan and help the Social Media Marketing team execute plans for posts on social media platforms that include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Pinterest

    • Prepare plans, research, and propose ideas for a reactivation series for a 250K inactive email segment

National Women’s Hockey League

Marketing Intern

  • Serve directly under the League Commissioner and Media Staff to:

    • Assist in developing marketing, promotional, and public relations campaigns and materials for the 2015-2016 Inaugural Season for the NWHL.

    • Assist in Game Day Operations for the New York Riveters and the Connecticut Whale including collecting game statistics, retail/merchandise sales, ticket sales, and press conferences

    • Assist in event Coordination including events for the New York Riveters and the entire NWHL League

  • Use Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Illustrator to create custom images, photos, media guides, maps, tickets, billboards, and social media images for use by the League and New York Riveters.

  • Handle cash, online/Paypal, and credit transactions for retail and merchandise sales

  • Make “cold call” phone contacts with potential sponsors and investors

  • Create and run social media platforms for the League, New York Riveters, and Connecticut Whale including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and SnapChat.
